About the Project

ECDC partnered with the Iowa Lake Community College Construction Technology program to construct this 3 bedroom, 2 bedroom home with 1,452 square feet in the Rockport neighborhood. Our buyers liked the general floorplan and purchased the home while under construction so they could pick their own finishes (flooring, cabinets, siding, and more).

Located near the shores of Five Island Lake in Emmetsburg, this home features an open floor plan with a modern kitchen, dining room, and living room; 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, including a nice master suite with a walk-in-closet; both a mud room and a laundry room; an attached two-car garage; patio doors leading to a small covered porch at the back of the house; and a backyard with direct access to the Five Island Trail system. The buyers chose to finish the basement after purchasing the home, adding several bedrooms and a large family room.
